Simplicity At Its Worst

Some people are a lot more complicated than they look at first glance. I'd like to think that I am one of those people.

My name is Nydia. Pronounce it right please.
I'm 14.
New York.

I love anything and everything; white chocolate, faded jeans, happiness, perfume, literature, crop tees, the acoustic guitar, classical music, popcorn, red lipstick, spring, body piercings, sappy chick flicks, high heals, rainbows, neon colors, tears of joy, strawberries, cookies, day dreaming, converse, braided hair, writing poetry, photography, guys who can make me laugh, tattoos, sushi, the night sky, long hugs, stuffed animals, whipped cream, nail polish, british accents, blue eyes, butterflies, lace, flowers, old films, falling in love, oranges, trees, texting, laughing, ballet, wedding cakes, dresses, creativity, anything sweet, and my life.

I live my life to the fullest. You have to smile a little bigger, laugh a little harder, and love a little more. Because life doesn't last forever; make the most of it.

Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.
